Tracy Wise (“we”, “our”) values your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through tracywise.com.au, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We only collect personal information you give us directly through the website:
- Contact form: your name, email address, message, and (if you provide it) your phone number.
- Shop enquiries:your name, email address, the items you’ve selected, any notes you include, and (if you provide it) your phone number. We do notprocess card payments through this website — Tracy will contact you to confirm the order and arrange payment and delivery.
- Workshop enquiries: the same information applies as for the contact form.
Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, timestamp) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to identify or track individuals.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- reply to your message or enquiry;
- coordinate orders, deliveries and workshops;
- keep a record of our correspondence with you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Where it’s stored
- The website is hosted on a server based in Australia.
- Messages, orders and workshop enquiries are stored in a database on that server.
- Email notifications about new enquiries are delivered via Resend, an email delivery service. Your message content passes through Resend so that it can be delivered to Tracy.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
If you sign in to the studio administration area, a secure session cookie is used to keep you signed in. This only applies to authorised users (Tracy and her team).
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information from our records.
To make a request, please get in touch. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
Children
This website isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you’re a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access — including secure hosting, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and restricted access to the administration area. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we can’t guarantee absolute security of any information you send over the internet.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect any changes.
